Here are a few of our completed projects.

The Lamp Works, Birmingham
148 BTR apartments across 6-blocks located in the Jewellery Quarter area of Birmingham City Centre. The project is being procured via a 2-stage design and build route and is currently in the second stage. Works are expected to start on site from 3Q23 with completion in 4Q24. TCC are appointed as Project Managers.

The Crown Works, Birmingham
A development of 203 BTR units located within the Gun Quarter area of Birmingham City Centre. The development is a concrete frame consisting of pre-cast columns and cast in situ upper floors. External walls are comprised of facing brickwork with an SFS internal skin. The building includes resident’s amenity space to the ground floor as well as parking and 2 commercial units to the lower ground floor along with a central outdoor communal garden located at ground floor level. The project was procured via a 2-stage design and build route with Graham Group acting as Main Contractor. TCC are appointed as PM / EA / QS.

Sunbeam, Wolverhampton
The refurbishment of the existing Sunbeam Motorcycle Factory in Wolverhampton into 171 apartments. The building is located on Paul Street, Wolverhampton adjacent to the Penn Road and was constructed in the late 19th Century as a motorcycle factory. It has been restored and converted into a mix of residential apartments of Studios, 1-bed, 2-beds, and 3-beds. The building boasts a range of residential amenity facilities including co-working areas, private lounges and dining areas, gym, and private gardens. The project was procured via a two-stage design and build route and let under a JCT 2016 Design and Build Contract. TCC were appointed as Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveyors and Principal Designers.

Loughborough Court, Brixton
The renovation of an existing dilapidated 1940’s building in Brixton, London. The project includes the construction of a roof top extension and provides a total 64 luxury new private rented one and two bed apartments. TCC were involved in the development from inception, providing Project Management, Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer services.

Parallel 113, Walsall
A new high-quality industrial warehouse building totalling 113,000ft2 including first floor office. The building is equipped with 10nr dock levellers and 2nr level access doors with parking for 107 cars and 10nr HGV trailers. The works included stabilisation treatment to historic mine workings along with additional ground improvements to provide the required bearing ratios. TCC have been involved in the project from the initial feasibility stages through to procurement and site works and were appointed as EA, QS and PD.

Central Park, Avonmouth
The development of 15 trade units totalling 26,300ft2 across 2 terraces. Located at Link 49, Boscombe Business Park in Avonmouth. The units range between 1,300ft2 up to 4,300ft2 with 6m clear to eaves, each with separate pedestrian access and 6m high vehicle access doors. The site has parking for 55 cars, split between the units. TCC were appointed for Project Management, Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer from initial feasibility through to completion.

Volvo, Filton
A bespoke car dealership complimenting the existing buildings across the wider Horizon 38 business park and showcasing the latest Volvo branding standards. The project includes the main dealership building containing a car showroom and high quality workshop for servicing and MOT testing, with a separate wet and dry valet building located to the rear. TCC provided Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying services and have been involved since the initial project feasibility stage.

Oakview, Moseley
A new build development delivering 36 apartments for MIA Property Group as part of their sustained expansion across the region. This development continued the high-quality standard of the company’s developments maintaining their reputation in the private sale apartments market. TCC were involved in the development from the outset providing Project Management, Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying services.

Sir Robert Peel Court, Shirley
The first new build apartment development by MIA Property Group as part of a planned expansion across the region. This development of 32 apartments sort to set the standard for the company’s future developments and firmly establish their place in the private sale apartments market. TCC were involved in the project from the outset of the project providing Project Management, Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying services.

De Montfort Mews, Leicester
A 91-bed student accommodation with associated amenity space, located on De Montfort Mews, Leicester. The project was delivered for Zone Developments Limited as part of their luxury portfolio across the region. TCC were involved in the development from the outset from initial demolition of the original buildings on site through to completion, delivering the project in time for the student intake in September 2019.

Travelodge, Swindon
A 70 bed, four storey Travelodge Hotel with a Bar Café with a drive thru Subway and standalone drive thru Starbucks with associated car parking and landscaping. The Travelodge building was build of a concrete transfer deck with a lightweight timber framed upper floors, clad with a mixture of render and timber with brickwork to the lower levels. The site is located at Barnfield Close, Swindon and was built by Hinton Design and Build Limited. TCC were involved in the development from the early pre contract site remediation phases right through to completion and were delighted to have delivered the project early and to budget.

New Road, Studley
A development of 9 high-quality private residential dwellings located Studley, Warwickshire. The dwellings are of traditional construction, finished with Cedral click cladding to the elevations and smooth grey interlocking tiles to the roofs to complement the surrounding houses. TCC were involved in the development from the outset providing Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying services.

Herons View, Solihull
The first development by Kingslea Homes as part of a planned expansion across the region, this development sort to set the standard for the company’s future developments and firmly establish their place in the luxury residential market. The dwellings were of traditional construction, finished with render and timber cladding to the elevations and grey concrete tiles to the roofs to meet with the planner’s requirements for the development to compliment the surrounding houses.

140 New Walk, Leicester
A 52-studio student residence located in the conservation area of New Walk, Leicester. The project was for the renovation and extension of the existing Edwardian building which included rebuilding the existing façade and much of the existing structure to provide a high quality modern internal finish. The project was completed by Stepnell Limited for Zone Developments following the demise of the previous main contractor in September 2019. TCC provided Fund Monitoring services to Empiric Student Properties who took ownership of the project at Practical Completion in June 2020.

De Montfort Street, Leicester
A new student accommodation development by Zone Developments Limited as part of their luxury portfolio across the region. The project included the conversion of an existing row of residential units located on De Montfort Street, Leicester, along with a rear new build extension to form 18 student studio bedrooms with associated amenity space.
TCC were involved in the development from the outset through to completion and delivered the project on time and to budget.

Upperton Road, Leicester
A purpose-built student residence located in the Bede Island area of Leicester. The project was for the refurbishment of an existing block and the design and construction of two additional 3-4 storey blocks housing 46 studios, self-contained flats, and ancillary accommodation. TCC provided Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer Services.

Costa Coffee, Andover
A ‘Drive Thru’ Costa Coffee with 31 car parking spaces and associated landscaping. The building is a single storey unit with a mono-pitched roof with a mixture of coloured render, timber cladding and powder coated aluminium panels. The site is located on Hawker Siddeley Way, Andover Business Park and was built by Capital Construction Management Limited. TCC were involved in the development from the outset through to completion and delivered the project on time and to budget.

Costa Coffee, Gloucester
A ‘Drive Thru’ Costa Coffee with 26 car parking spaces and associated landscaping. The building is a single storey unit with a mono-pitched roof with a mixture of coloured render, timber cladding and powder coated aluminium panels. The site is located on the site of the former Cross Keys Inn, Bath Road, Hardwicke, Gloucester. TCC were involved in the development from the outset through to completion and delivered the project on time and to budget.

Costa, Highbridge
A ‘Drive Thru’ Costa Coffee with 37 car parking spaces and associated landscaping. The building is a single storey unit with a mono-pitched roof with a mixture of coloured render, timber cladding and powder coated aluminium panels. The site is located on the Isleport Business Park in Bennett Road, next to the Aldi store. TCC were involved in the development from the outset through to completion and delivered the project on time and to budget.

Co-op, Tamworth
A Co-op retail unit with 21 car parking spaces and associated landscaping. The building is a single storey unit with a mono-pitched roof with a mixture of coloured render, facing brickwork and powder coated aluminium panels. The site is located on land south of the Ashby Road (Anker Valley), Tamworth and was built by Hinton Design and Build Limited. TCC were involved in the development from the outset through to completion and delivered the project a week ahead of programme and to budget.

Holiday Inn Express, Folkestone
Cladding remediation works to an existing Holiday Inn Express to provide a successful EWS 1 B1 rating certification located on Cheriton High Street, Folkestone. The works comprise the design and construction of cladding remediation works, incorporating removal of existing cladding system; insertion of fire cavity barriers at designated areas; and reinstallation of existing cladding system, along with internal compartmentation remedial works. The hotel remained open to staff and guests during the works. TCC were responsible for managing the procurement of the initial reports and surveys to inform the works, procuring the Main Contractor, and administering the Building Contract during the completion of the works on site providing Project Management, Employer’s Agent, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer services.

Tool Station Highbridge
A new Tool Station branch with 37 car parking spaces and associated landscaping. The building is a 3,390 sq. ft trade counter with dark grey polyester powder coated aluminium cladding panels and a standing seam roof. The site is located on the Isleport Business Park in Bennett Road, next to the Aldi store. TCC were involved in the development from the outset through to completion and delivered the project on time and to budget.

The Gym Group, National Framework
The Construction Consultants are instructed to provide a range of services for The Gym Group’s national roll out programme. We provide construction technical due diligence and cost advise relating to potential leasehold acquisitions as well as Project Management and Cost Consultancy services on fast paced fit out and refurbishment projects.
We are involved in projects ranging from 7,000 – 20,000 sq ft which include specialist flooring and acoustic finishes throughout; a complete overhaul of existing M&E installations to provide low energy lighting, new HVAC systems, washroom facilities, and access control; corporate branding features and installation of fitness equipment.

Greyfriars House, Coventry
The conversion of the former newspaper office Greyfriars House, located in Coventry City Centre, into a 98-bedroom student accommodation. The development, which included the construction of a double rooftop extension adding a further two storeys to the building, contains a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom studio apartments. Solar panels on the roof generate all the electricity to service the roof top extension, reducing the impact of the development on the local electrical network. TCC were involved in the development from the outset through to completion and delivered the project on time and to budget.

Caspar House, Birmingham
The extensive refurbishment works comprised the strip-out and complete re-fit of 46 private residential units. The development benefits from feature stairs and a light flooded atrium entrance hall and adds another successful project to our Singapore based client, Equity Venture Enterprises Limited’s portfolio. The site is located on Charlotte Street, Birmingham and the refurbishment works were carried out by Studio Fourteen (Interiors) Limited. TCC were involved in the project from the outset through to completion and were delighted to have delivered the project ahead of schedule and to budget.

Lecture Theatre Refurb, Wolverhampton
The motivation for the project was to modernise the space to create a contemporary, fully inclusive and accessible learning and teaching environment that is fit for both staff and students now and for years to come. The design direction was to modernise and replace the existing with furniture fixtures and equipment (FF&E) that is energy efficient and have improved controls. TCC were involved from the project’s inception through to practical completion providing Principal Designer Services.

Cosners House, Abingdon
Situated in the grounds of the medieval Abbey of Abingdon, approximately 8 miles from Oxford, the Grade II listed Cosensers House is run as a conference centre and hotel by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and managed and operated by Baxter Storey. Works involved the full refurbishment of the main reception, 13 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and communal areas in the Orchard wing. All works were carefully undertaken whilst the hotel remained open throughout. The suite of refurbishment works was undertaken by Studio Fourteen Interiors Limited. TCC were involved in the development from the outset through to completion and delivered the project on time and to budget.
